MISSION STATEMENT
We exist to provide a space for young adults, 18-35, to build a relationship with Christ, dive into scripture, and lean into community with each other.
WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
We spend time investing in each other’s lives through community, worship, and the Word. We host weekly connecting points for young adults from ages 18-35, such as weekly Sunday School, weekly Thursday night Bible Study, and our monthly Third Thursday Dinners. The Austin Avenue Aces (First Methodist Waco’s YA softball team) played games 3 and 4 of the season on Wednesday evening. Our practice on Sunday afternoon really made a difference. We saw some excellent improvement from last week in both batting and fielding. Between our two games, we scored a total of 7 runs! The Aces would like to make a special shout-out to our Coach Curtis Hippler and fans Debby Adkins, Tabitha Hippler, and Cole Sorota!
Our next games are as follows:
- Wednesday, 10/16 at Dubl-R Fields at Riverbend Ballpark at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
- Wednesday, 10/23 at Dubl-R Fields at Riverbend Ballpark at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
