WHO WE ARE

The college ministry of First Methodist Waco exists to aid in forming college students into mature, self-giving adults actively participating in the life of the church and mission of God. From worship nights in the homes of church members to weekly small groups, from Super Bowl watch parties to lunches after church, we do all of it in deeply rooted community, and we'd love for you to be a part of it.

FIRST METHODIST WACO | BAYLOR CAMPUS RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY

MEET THE DIRECTOR: ELIZABETH FRANKLIN

ElizabethFranklin

I have been on staff with First Methodist as a worship leader since 2018, and I was fortunate to spend several semesters volunteering in college ministry before God made it clear that my vocational path was going to shift into college ministry professionally! My hope and prayer for First Waco's college ministry is that it will be a place where students feel invited into a community that will encourage, challenge, and partner with them as they transition into adult life and faith. Some things you should know about me:

  • Unapologetically obsessed with my dog, Nike.
  • Never not in the mood for tacos.
  • Mountains > beaches (apologies to my Floridian upbringing).
  • Finally willing to admit that TikTok is better than Vine (RIP).
  • Big fan of big questions - faith, life, calling, relationships, etc. That's my favorite part of ministry.
I'd love to meet you and introduce you to our church and our ministry! Let's get coffee. You can reach me at 254-900-1371, [email protected], or @firstwacocollege on Instagram.
