The college ministry of First Waco exists to bring students into community with God and each other. Our motto is “Growing, changing, traveling. Together.” We want to always be growing in our faith and relationships, open to changing and transforming into the people God is calling us to be and traveling through this life journey one step of faith at a time. And we’re doing it all together. We are not on this journey alone, and we want to invite you to join us as we navigate life, culture, faith, and how the Gospel fits into all of this. We’d love to get to know you!

Taylor Buntin, College Director, looks forward to meeting you and walking alongside you in your faith journey during your college days. Please contact Taylor.

We are also in the process of renovating the Wesley building located only a block away from Baylor’s campus (821 Speight Ave, Waco, TX). Once the renovations are finished, our college ministry will operate primarily out of that building. The Wesley is remaining a student organization, so we will be involved with campus and student life, but we will operate under the umbrella of First Waco. We are so excited for you to see the space and make it your own!

Sundays 11 am:  Downtown Campus, 1300 Austin Avenue
(If you need transportation, we have a carpool system. Contact Taylor.)

Tuesdays: For the summer, we have special activities planned for Tuesdays. Contact Taylor for information.

Discipleship is a great way to receive one-on-one ministry from a fellow believer who can pour into your life through prayer, accountability, and individual teaching. For more information, email Taylor.

Meet Taylor Buntin, our College Director. You will recognize Taylor from leading worship in our contemporary services and serving in our youth and college ministries as a worship leader. Taylor has a really broad range of things he's passionate about. From playing basketball to writing songs, he has found himself experiencing Christ in new ways with each new passion. Working with the youth at First is fulfilling for him because he gets to show them that Jesus isn't just confined to the traditional worship service experience. He loves getting to laugh and tell stories and play games with our students, all while showing them that Jesus is present in those things too. Taylor is a Baylor graduate along with his wife, Shyanne and they live in Downtown Waco.
