CHILDREN'S MIDWEEK
BIBLE BUDDY ADOPTION
Fall Midweek kicks off September 6th at 6:00p with a Bible Buddy Adoption. Your child(ren) will choose a Bible Buddy from our selection.
We will send home a reading calendar with suggested Bible verses for them (with your help) to read to their Bible Buddies throughout the Midweek period. There will be incentives for those who reach the goal of reading to their buddies!
MAIN CAMPUS SUNDAY MORNINGS

PRESCHOOL SUPER HERO DAY - On Sunday, September 17, our Preschool Sunday School classes at Main will have Superhero Sunday! The class will be learning about Rahab and the Spies on this day. They will learn about how important BRAVERY is to our faith walk. Wear your superhero gear and come to the Preschool classroom (118) for Super Hero snacks from 10:30-11:00a. We will have regularly scheduled 9:30a Sunday School and 11a Sunday School. Go to worship one hour, come eat some Superhero Snacks and come to Sunday School one hour.
Preschool is for children ages 3-5 years (toilet trained).

POWER UP! BUG EXPLORATION DAY - On Sunday, October 1, Kinder-2nd graders will be wrapping up our BUGS lesson series by having Alan Small, Mayborn Museum's STEM Program Coordinator, present a collection of bugs to the kiddos. (It won't be icky or scary! It will be really cool!) We will also have bug-themed goody bags to send home with the kids that day.
We will have Bug Exploration Day in both the 9:30a and 11a Power Up hours at the Main Campus. Go to worship one hour, and come see our bugs the other hour!
Power Up is for children Kindergarten - 2nd grade.

Isaiah 64:8 says, "Yet, O Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."
On Sunday, October 15, children in the Nursery classrooms will participate in Potter and Clay Day to celebrate how we are made with intention and care by our Creator.
While parents are in worship, nursery workers will assist children in making a special handprint clay keepsake to take home.

FAMILY WORSHIP
We are so happy to welcome you and your family to any of our worship services at any of our three locations. Kids Belong Here! We love the sound of children, including their noise, laughter and busy-ness. God made kids active and conversational, and we understand and love this! We love the presence of YOUR children in our church!
With this in mind, here are a few tips to help your children engage in the service:
Relax! It's okay to let kids be kids here.
Sit Close! Consider sitting closer to the front where it is easier for your kids to see what is going on in the service.
Explain! Quietly explain what is going on in the service, so they can understand the different parts of the service.
Join in! Kids learn by example. If you sing, respond, pray and participate in the service, your kids will too!
Need to step out? Sometimes kids just need a break. Feel free to step out if you need to, but please come back. 🙂
