CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
10 AM FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP | MAIN CAMPUS SANCTUARY
Our morning service is designed for the whole family but with a special emphasis on our kids. We will sing the great songs of Christmas and hear the Christmas story as told by kids and youth. We will light candles, share Holy Communion, and enjoy a living nativity.
5 & 7 PM CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP | MAIN CAMPUS SANCTUARY
These identical services will feature a Christmas message from Pastor Ryan and have music led by our combined band, choir, and orchestra. It will include candlelighting and all the sacred traditions of Christmas Eve.
11 PM CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS EVE COMMUNION WORSHIP | DOWNTOWN CAMPUS SANCTUARY
This candlelit service is an elegantly sacred time of worship. Leaders are in black tie as they lead us through a liturgy of Holy Communion that culminates in receiving the sacrament just as the clock turns to Christmas morning.

The Waco Wonderland Parade
Saturday, December 2 | 10 am
The annual downtown Waco Wonderland Parade will begin at 11th & Austin Avenue and will travel to 3rd Street.
We will hand out candy canes along with a personal invitation to our Christmas Eve Services. Join us for caroling, merriment, and a fun time of community engagement!

Advent By Candlelight 2023
Women of all ages, you are invited to a night filled with Holy wonder.
Join us for Advent by Candlelight on Sunday, December 3rd. New this year - There are two opportunities to attend: 2:00-3:30 pm or 6:30-8 pm. We'll have dessert, snacks, and pretty decorations, along with a beautiful time in worship. Click image to register.

First Methodist Waco presents A Night in Bethlehem on Friday, December 15, from 6 - 8 pm at the Extraco Events Center's North Pole Palooza. During this 2-hour Christmas program, families wander through the bustling Bethlehem marketplace and discover what life was like when Jesus was born by creating unique keepsakes as they interact with local shopkeepers who share the Christmas story. And…they’ll love visiting the Living Nativity (complete with live animals)—and hearing about the miracle of Jesus’ birth. An admission ticket to the North Pole Palooza is required, but there is no additional cost to participate.
Volunteers are welcome! Serve as a shopkeeper, member of the set-up crew, or greeter as we share the Gospel with our community. Contact Bridget Heins (bridget@firstwaco.com) for details.
