Care and Support

Impacting Lives for the Greater Good

As a church family, we reach out to one another when we’re presented with difficult circumstances. We pray and walk alongside each other during life’s worst trials. There are several ways that you can ask for or even provide specialized care and support at FUMC of Waco.

Everyone needs support.

Our Congregational Care Team is here to reach out with those who are homebound or confined to a care facility. Members will visit monthly and provide spiritual support or communion, if desired. In addition, our Stephen Ministry is a group of caring individuals who reach out to members of the church during trying circumstances. These circumstances can include difficult life transitions, sick loved ones, an employment crisis, and much more. Through a discrete referral process, our Stephen Ministers reach out to those in our congregation who need one-on-one support.
